Nachdem ich Sandro bei einem Meetup live gesehen habe, habe ich direkt danach das Buch bestellt. Ich lese viele Software-Bücher, aber dieses ist eines der ganz wenigen, die meine Karriere als Entwickler stark beeinflusst haben. Die "Erlebnis"-Schreibweise macht es leicht, das Buch komplett zu lesen.Die Erfahrungen, die Sandro während seines Berufslebens gemacht hat, decken sich stark mit meinen Erfahrungen. Auf jedem neuen Projekt versuche ich meine Kollegen dazu zu bewegen, das Buch zu lesen.
This book almost had a therapeutic effect for me as you can find yourself in the so honest and humble written examples the author tells from his personal experience.I never felt so motivated and proud to be a developer like now after having read this book.It changed my way of thinking regarding being a developer like:- using more TDD- it’s more important to write simple code that others will understand easily then to to blindly apply patterns- keeping a professional attitude no matter what, always being humble when learning from others and having courage to change things and saying the truth- how to motivate other people in the company with your own motivation- the benefits of pair programming- evolving the IT communityThank you so much Sandro for sharing your knowledge!
